Taylor and Rachael Keller grew up next door to Caitlin, Michael, and Ian Kruse. The five kids became more than just your average friendly neighbors, they became family. Both families, in their entirety, have supported each other during the difficult times and celebrated with each other during all the joys and triumphs through out the years. Their special bond is unlike any I have witnessed before. As a matter of fact, when the Kellers remodeled their home and yard, they built a door into the fence which traces the yard between the two homes. This door's sole purpose is to make access into the home of each neighbor counterpart that much easier. Metaphorically speaking, this has become the “revolving door” between the two households. A pretty special relationship if you ask me. So when all five kids were home to celebrate Rachael and Taylor’s birthday, (Yes, they are twins), we created a piece which will be treasured as a reminder of the relationship behind the revolving door for a lifetime. Each household has one for a wall along with several smaller images to place on bookshelves and tables.
